Our Story

The Brodocks have been in the food business for over 35 years. Kathy, the baker, started baking when their oldest son was an infant as a way to bring in extra income while being a stay at home mom. The business stayed a hobby serving friends and family until 2015, when they built the commercial kitchen onto their home. ​ Since then, Valor has become a Blount County go to for cakes and sweets for all occasions! Each member of the family contributes to the business in some form, from paper work to dishes, deliveries to mixing icings, from shopping to deliveries. It's a little crazy sometimes, but #VALORbakerylife is the sweet life.
